Born and raised in Melbourne, David's passion for the natural world led him to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Geology at the University of Melbourne. His academic foundation in geology gave him a unique understanding of the earth’s materials and processes, which he later leveraged in his career in mining and infrastructure development. After completing his studies, David initially worked in the field of environmental consultancy, where he applied his geological expertise to a range of projects involving natural resource management, environmental impact assessments, and land development. This experience proved invaluable as he transitioned into the construction industry. In the early stages of his career, David quickly moved up the ranks due to his strong leadership skills, problem-solving ability, and deep technical knowledge. His time in the field and as a project manager solidified his understanding of complex construction challenges and the importance of sustainable practices.
